To date, AnLar Group has grown from within. It started originally with AnLar in 2013, creating an organization that is designed to trust and support its staff first, rather than the other way around. AnLar Group was established in 2016. Then, in 2017, SPEDSIS was acquired with the primary intent of porting the culture and values of AnLar to another company. After a year, it was determined that SPEDSIS should be folded into AnLar.
Then in 2020, AnLar Group acquired another company called OtisEd, which had some of the similar values and approaches not just to the work and clients, but also to the people that work there.
There were efforts made with other companies, but time again, the adherenace to the core values became the litmus test whether such an acquisition or partnership would work out. What it looks like now? AnLar Group is pushing to expand its reach, not just through strategic partnerships but also through incubation. It hopes to facilitate a community where similarly valued leaders want to gravitate towards. The AnLar Group should be a place that helps incubate ideas and initiatives, assuming there are shared concepts of success. AnLar Group should become a pathway for leaders and organizations to emerge and grow.
What will it become? AnLar Group should be a community. It should be a network for leaders and aspiring leaders. A classroom of learners, attempting to lead organizations in a way that pushes against the traditional values of many companies today, putting finances and loyalty to the company over the well-being of the people that work there.
This network should include communities of practice, fluidity of ideas and pathways, a database of policies established around people-centered principles, and in general, a professional network of people and leaders aligned in values and metrics of success.
These values help govern decisions, behaviors, and commitments each person/leader should adhere to.
